I don't know about GLC in the healthcare industry specifically, but I was from a small GLC life science company that works closely with AStar. The bonus payouts are quite decent compare to whats outside, a average performer will get 1 month aws and about 6+ months for a profit linked bonus.
But starting pay is lower than civil service, they only offered me 3.8k for FCH compared to some of my unimate who got 4.1k in ministries.

The crux here is "profit linked bonus". Healthcare institutions are NOT for profit, so there's no such thing here. In fact they are not GLC; they are 100% owned by the government. So I don't get why there are people here who keep lumping them with GLCs. There is an assumption that GLCs pay well, and hence people who want to enter healthcare "GLC" will naturally assume salary can't be too bad.
To affirm, fresh grad who wish to enter healthcare institutions in administrative roles as executives can expect a range of 2.6 - 3.2k, depending on your degree (what class of honours and where is it from). The more "prestigious" one will be their individual associate programme, where you will follow a fixed career progression as you rotate around various functions. Even then, their starting salary will be be around the same, with 100 - 300 more. There is 13 month bonus, with PB.

I am also very very interested to know about the bonus. Actually anything more than 3mths for VB is considered a lot. Even mnc, banks and oil and gas companies usually only payout 2-3 to employees and some of these companies do not give AWS. those reported on news like6mths bonus are honestly the extreme case.
Can someone please share more details?

In my opinion, public hospitals are GLCs/affiliate companies because although they are government funded, they are not directly under ministries. refer to this: ://.psd.gov.sg/singapore-public-service/overview-of-public-service
Statutory Boards under Ministry of Health are: Health Promotion Board and Health Sciences Authority. The other professional bodies are Singapore Dental Council, Singapore Medical Council, Singapore Nursing Board, Singapore Pharmacy Council and TCM Practitioners Board

Any difference in the culture, pay, benefit for MOH, MOHH and these companies under MOHH?
Which one better?
