Default Freelance instructor salary

Hi

I just got my fitness instructor license, ncap and first aid. I also got a Mahesh Yoga teacher license.

Some of my friends teaching freelance earning $5000 and more per month. No need to pay tax. Working 3 weekday and 1 Sunday evening per week. A few friends teaching swimming at swimming complex also earn about same.

I apply to PA, SPorts Council and civil service club to teach gym, yoga and fitness. I am apply to 3 secondary schools.

But 1 month already I still get no reply from them.

Sport council and PA tell me they will get cut if I teach with them.

Can fellow freelance instructor share how much they earn for 1 class?

Thanks

TY

for every $100 paid by a participant, instructor gets back $70 - $80. The rest of $ CC takes to cover rent, electricity and other costs.

very hard to earn decent living this way.

ssc and cc slots all chope by lao jiao trainers already. no slots for new bird trainer.

your friends must teach at least two full class per day to earn that kind of money. not easy. trainer must make friend with the cc manager or Constituency Director.

some cc allow instructor to charge participant extra money for course notes or equipment such as gloves. many instructors usually give out their business name cards to the class. if trainer is good can get repeat customers.

Jurong sports hall charging $90 for 12 aerobics classes. One class can't even earn $10 per student. Like tt how can instructor survive!

Go network. Do corporate clients. Banks, etc. per session easily $500. Events like launches, yoga demo in parks easily $800 per day. Such gigs are hard to come by though. Difficult to schedule your social life in advance. But if it's side line it's very good money. Tax free also

Be a badminton or tennis or swimming coach. Income is more stable. Students all year round. Tough to book a court though.

Average $5,000 cash per month before transport and cpf. A bit better than driving taxi, half the hours and get to move around.

My two cents worth.

Hi!
I believe you could have your question answered here: XPlace. And it's also a wonderful website to look for freelance training job opportunities if you're in need of employment. Consider this offer - the marketplace has lots of advantages for freelancers, such as higher hourly rates than other boards, a large number of various projects, and no commission fee.
