I have tot of this and endure for a long time with my field.
Now i got this offer n i feel like going all the way for it.
But again uncertainty been pulling me back.
I need gv an answer to both side by this friday and i cant come to a decision.
Living current comfort zone which everyone might think to go for 40% paycut, nobody wont believe or even do, not even to my current boss that she cant understand why i m doing this, in fact i already spoke to my boss n she really encouraged me tp hold on n develop my interest slowly. She is very nice n even encourage me to further study since i have free time.
Should i just stay on?

How long have u been in ur current account management job? If u have been in ur current job for more than 3 years, I believe that u do not hate this job.
The dilemma for u now is passion vs pay. If u are a swinging single with no commitments and liabilities, I would advise u to pursue ur passion by all means. But u have a daughter and parents to feed so in a way, u are responsible for them. Ur higher pay would translate to a better quality of life for ur daughter and parents. Passion always sizzle out after we do something for very long. And more money, more savings would give u a better foundation to pursue ur passion at a later time.

Thanks for your advice.
I in my industry for ten yrs from sales support to sales account manager.
I wonder even i step out to try a new avenue even with lower pay, 5 yrs later, i could work up back to the current pay.
Is it worth taking such risk?

How long can i go on with such kind of life?
Will dare be anyone dare to go for pay cut 40% to look for new avenue?

If you hate the job scope you will not go very much further. And in the meantime you will struggle with the stress and drag yourself to work every morning.
That said, 40% is a significant drop. So... try looking for a similar opportunity with a smaller pay cut ?

Simple
Hi,
The answer to your question is very simple. Reject the new job offer as the pay cut is too much. Stay on your current job, and continue to search for other jobs which you think you have more interest in, without getting such a big pay cut. Secondly, since you said you are interested in HR, you should start studying for some HR certifications.
Taking a deep pay cut to go to a job which you THINK MAY lead to a HR role in future, plus you THINK everything will go smoothly including a new, understanding boss with new, collaborative colleagues and work environment, hours etc etc and eventually you'll end up in the HR job which you're so SURE that you'd enjoy (ALL Maybe's, IFs only). Plus you have parents and kid to support.
Taking a pay cut is very easy, but getting the increment to go up to the same level again will take years. Stay and look out for other offers. Unless you have a rich partner.
