GE Oil & Gas
Anyone able to provide insights about GE Oil & Gas?
Do they pay well for commercial entry level positions (1-2yrs exp)? Hows the bonus, culture and benefits like?
I live in the east, not sure if it is worth travelling all the way to benoi....

Hi, I've been working for GE Oil & gas for the past 6 months. I'm staying eastside.
But, for me i've been working for almost 10yrs in Jurong & tuas site areas and been taking my own transport. Slow traffic & jam is always a hassle. But GE allows for employee for flexible starting hours from 0730-0930hrs and clock 8.8hrs/day, so sure u can't be late for work & furthermore they provide company transport at certain pick-up points.
Well, they have the normal AWS but their coming bonus i heard is 1mth only or even less, might due to buying more company. In return they pay more for ur monthly gross salary comparing to their competitors. Good if u plan to jump ship to another company.
This is my 8th company that i had work, and again they are pro & cons especially office politics. Their benefits are also not bad.
Yes, if u r planning for a lifetime career investment, then GE Oil & gas is ur answer.
They keep on improving as they are dealing with major clients in Oil & gas sectors which also widens up ur opportunity to advance in many aspects.
