Diamler managers are provided with company car!?!? Anyone can confirm?

I dealt with a few managers there and they seem like very junior level people, quite surprise they actually provide company cars to them....

Yes. Managers do get cars. Assistant managers dont.
And yes, some of the managers are very young - 26, 27 years old.

Bmw has a more lenient car policy - junior employees get to lease cars from the companies.

Actually Diamler is very smart in the sense they give out company cars to managers then underpay them severely by justifying at least they got the car "perk".

Pay progression & bonus is so pathetic there that honestly if you just go into another industry like pharma or fmcg can easily make double and buy your own fancy car that you like and still got excess cash.

It's not just the car, also the prestige that comes with it.

Sure they pay their managers pathetic amounts, but when you drive a car to a party or meeting, you get to boast to others about the company giving you a car which layman will think you are some sort of senior regional/global director in a mnc.

The car everyone can see, the lousy payslip only you know. Typical play with employee psychology to reduce cost.
