Confusing. To join or not to join PUB
Hi All,
Really need some good advice. Currently, I'm 38 years old, worked as a sales engineer. monthly salary of $3,200, Car allowance of $900. I got 10 years experience in private sector, graduated from NP.
PUB offered me $2,850 Plus hardship allowance of $150. Yes you are right, working in WRP.
I'm confusing because they are huge difference in my income, almost $1,100. Please advise.
Thanks

Someone who is working in Stat board, care to share the increment that you have?
Annual Increment, does performance affect the increment? If yes, the highest increment one employee can get is? Lets say performance: B -> how much? performance: c -> how much?
When does the first increment takes place? (Right after I work for a year?)
Thank You

Actually no, they are offering you 3k vs 3.2k. If you look at annual package I think PUB will beat your private sector job. You can't count in your $900 car allowance cos your current job is sales engineer. There is no sales in PUB and hence there is no car allowance.
If you cannot give up your car allowance then please continue with your sales engineer job.

Figures i heard are in the ballpark region of $4xxx onwards.

Just some clarifications regarding this issue, That is def not true at least now(2016). I am a second lower honours but with good relevant internship exp and I had an interview with them before I officially graduated from NTU.

Hi, anyone knows the salary range for managers with 3-4 years exp in CAAS? What's the typical bonus like for CAAS? How long does it take to get promoted there? How's career progression like? Thanks!
