Redundant question. EDB ONLY accepts 1st class or only if you're extremely exceptional individual then perhaps 2nd Upper. Obviously i'm only talking about official front door entries. I've heard of places where the board members have personal recommendations (somebody's son or daughter etc) and they're given a red carpet right through the door - not EDB though)
Figures i heard are in the ballpark region of $4xxx onwards.

Does anyone know if statutory board factor in professional certification(IT) into the salary package or it just helps to gain entry to the position that you have applied for but no impact in the assessment of your salary?

it's quite good for the relatively relaxed environment. the more hardworking ones will also try to teach the part-time night classes at the 2nd-tier tertiary institutions e.g. SIM University.
