I'm lost as I don't know how can I apply for it. My Encik told me that I have to wait til 6 months before ord to apply. Whoever knows anything about me4 application, please advice me on what can I do and which department I can approach etc... With more informations. Thank you in advance.
Also , may I know if choosing me4 path is good or bad?
My plan is to sign 5 years first to see if I'm suitable for it. If I'm not, I plan to join private aerospace sectors after 5 year bond. Will my 5 years in rsaf be counted as working experience???

I have a few frens signed on as airforce ME4. Currently we are still studying so their Univeristy fee is paid by rsaf. Plus monthly allowance of roughly 1k+ depending on yr scholarship. If u did well, can go for oversea exchange, rsaf will cover the air tix and living expenses. Dont cover yr travelling expenses. After h complete ur studies, only need to serve 4bonds if i nv rmb wrongly. So far so good right?
But from what I know their vocation is aircraft engineer but they only do paper work, nth hands on. If that's what u want then go ahead and sign. The rice bowl is good but can't be rich. Unless u 1st honor, u will get close to 5k. Call the hotline and ask for more info. Maybe u can sign on earlier, don waste ur time serving ns and sign on later.
Ps I use Hp and type. May have some mistakes

Some posters earlier were saying that you only need to promote twice to ME6 then can reach equal pay with LTC at 15k monthly. TBH this sounds very good, how many normal engineers outside even smell 8k, much less 15k by 40 years old?
I am getting confuse as different people are giving different info on the ME in SAF.

To be promoted to me6 takes many many years. So don't expect too much. U will struck at me4 for years before u promote to me5. Basically each rank got me4-1 me4-2 bla bla bla.
That's what I heard from my frens, I don know any other info.

Of cse it's better to sign as ME4 Air Force Officer... After u pass out, u will be posted into a flt in ALS as Dy OC... Everyday do nothing but reviewing this and that, send out useless emails to somebody next door, organize events for the squadrons, write USMS, go tea break and talk cock.. When time to go back just go, attend safety briefing and talk the same old crap every month. For all these u get 4-5 K every month without fail.Last but not least must pass IPPT if not affect your performance bonus.
It's still a better deal than joining some aircraft maintenance license training programme as degree holders, getting 2500 dollars fixed for 44 months, must pass all exams if not Kenna terminated and after passed out only to find out they have been conned..ie only extra license allowance 500 dollars but basic still 2500 dollars. Work in OPS line rain or shine, day or night and risking your license if anything happen to the aircraft that you sign.
