You shd restrict your application to an organization, let say MOE, once or twice in a month and only those positions that interest you a lot .

So that means, you can apply to many public organizations at a time. The employers actually will not bother to check what you applying in other organizations.

And never apply the same position over and over again if nv shortlisted.
Applying for same position again if not previously shortlisted might show you're really interested/enthusiastic?

Huh? I always bank jobs are first choice for most grads. Ask those from SMU.

Hi just started a job in a local bank for about a month, previously from foreign bank, and would like to make a switch since i feel i do not suit the job and the organisation culture. Question is, should i declare that i currently am on probation to new headhunters/ job applications, or should i leave it totally out of my resume so that it looks 'cleaner' /better impression that i want to job hop after a month and looks as if im still jobless?

If it's your first job just leave it out and say you've been searching for a job/on grad trip.

Just curious, what's wrong with the organization culture?

I need advice. I recently started new job in August. Been in this new job coming 3 months. During this period, I have heard a lot of feedbacks, 'complaints', grumbles about the boss from my colleagues. The bad reviews include,' throwing all things to the staff to do including things that should be done by the boss himself', giving wrong advice/recommendations to the customers and the staffs need to rectify the problems caused, trying to 'cheat' cpf/salary contributions for staff who came back from maternity leave, etc.

I am still new in the company so I am not 'hit' yet. Not only that, my colleagues are also religious type, even when casual chatting, they will talk about their 'Gods' and all that.

When they got the chance, they will preach about their religion.

Feeling very uneasy, I have been thinking should I resign or not.

Your boss is a local or foreign?

Had another horrible interview experience.

Seems like every interviewer has different expectations for standard questions like 'why do you want to join this company' or 'why do you want to leave your current job' or 'where do you see yourself in 5 years'...

Some like nice sounding bs answers some like more honest and self-deprecating style...like trying to strike lottery when choosing how to answer.

Did you get the job after your interview?

Have a question. How long would be the average time to get a job offer these days?

No, usually they tell me the usual polite stuff like thanks for coming down, we will contact you for next round within 1 or 2 weeks if shortlisted etc. etc.

For my current job which is shitty and I can't wait to quit, I did have a good feeling after my interview, the boss even told me he thought my application was quite strong but he still had to see other applicants since already arranged to meet them.

I think you can more or less feel the vibe from the interviewer/hr during such situations la. Everytime I had bad/doubtful vibes from the interviewer I never got offered.
