about essay writing for civil/public service

does anyone have any idea what does the civil/public service look out for in terms of essay writing before an interview? language skills, ability to reason, creative answers, making an effort to read up on the coy or what? and what kinds of qns they normally ask- those that require creative answers or those that are looking for your knowledge of the coy kind. coz i was scheduled for essay writing from sla? nid some advice. thks.

Dunno about SLA but in mine for MOE I told them that scholars shouldn't simply be fast tracked to HOD roles because senior teachers (those who teach for 10-20 years kind) are more deserving and should not be overlooked for promotion.

Tells you something about the kind of vengeful people managing our civil service eh. Anyway that was when i was still a noob nsf. now after going through uni i've seen the light and achieved enlightenment. Lol.
