I didnt take the DBS MAP. I took a foreign bank MAP as at that point of time the foreign bank MAP paid better. But I heard DBS MAP now is paying $4.5k p/m, thanks to Mr Piyush Gupta.
Anyways, the MAP is different for most banks. Some similarities but better to think of it that all banks have different MAP. Yours seems like a GEP which is like a Graduate program within a specific scope (e.g. Ops, IT or Finance). I was offered something similar as well (Finance Graduate Program) at a offshore bank but I opted for the more general MA program instead finally.
Back to answering your qn, I rotated through various roles in back, middle front. I ended up in investment banking.
Yours seems like a tech focussed program. This means that you are "expected" to stay within tech. It depends on the bank and the program director. For instance, my program gradually evolved to allow MAs to move about. So Ops / Tech MA can go to Corp, Retail, Investment banks. Free for all, depends on your performance and aspirations. Other banks I understand is more structured. Good luck!

From what I heard, the DBS Graduate Executive Programme will have 60 this year regionally (almost double from 35 last year) , in which about 40 are in Singapore.
The programme is structured as follow:
- 1 month taking class at SMU
- ~11 month 1st rotation
- another 1 month taking class
- ~11 month 2nd rotation
I guess classes would be the same for both tech and operations tracks.

My offer in DBS Grad Excutive Prog is 3.8K (I heard that DBS MA is higher, 4k-4.2k), normal working hour is good, until 6PM only.
In PwC IT Advisory, my offer is only 2.7k, wokring hour is normally until 9PM zzz, but i guess big4 experience would open more doors for u after 4-5 years.

Open doors where? To banks right? For alot of people, BIG 4 is the stepping stone into the banks.
Think:
1. Go through Big 4.
2. Work 3-4years. Try to apply to banks.
3. 20% of those who try get lucky and get a banking offer. 80% do ops. 3-5% are lucky enough to get front office jobs.
Or,
1. Get into MA program.
2. Fast track path.
3. Work 3-4 years: Hopefully reach AVP
Choice is clear!
