Yours are external ones, the real titles are nowhere as high.
E5 - Executive
E6 - Executive
M1 - Senior Executive
M2 - Senior Executive
M3 - Assistant Manager
M4 - Manager
M5 - Manager
M6 - Senior Manager

for my GLC,
E4 is for poly assistant engineer
E5 is for fresh degree grad, engineer
E6 is senior engineer
M1/M2 is assistant principal engineer
M3 is principal engineer(technical route)/assistant manager(management route)
M4 is "i dunno, maybe for senior principal engineer"
still got deputy chief engineer, chief engineer, but i dunno is M5/6 or G level
G level got G1 to G4

I know quite a few sembcorp ppl, the official titles should be:
E5 executive
E6 snr executive
M1 asst manager
M2 manager
M3 snr manger
M4 AVP
M5 VP
M6 SVP
G and above should be EVP.
Agreed that the titles above are purely administrative purposes, any grades below M4 are not true managers.

So do anyone know what is the estimated pay scale for each of the individual band? What is the floor and ceiling cap?
Eg: pay scale for M1 is between $xxxx to $yyyy.

Not sure about pay scale.
I was E6 Senior exec 7years ago when i left ST/SembCorp.
My pay was a miserable $4000+ a bit after working there for more than a decade.
However, inclusive of bonus, it was good.

Hi guys,
Would appreciate if anyone can provide updated info on salary bands. Interested in the M1 to M3 range. Help is most appreciated! How about those in investment roles? Say real estate in Keppel REIT etc?

Fresh Grads in Sembcorp
Hey all.
I am a fresh grad looking into sembcorp..... can anyone update the rough payscale for sembcorp freshers in the E5 band... and also for progression wise how long will it be for an above average performer to make E6, M1, M2, M3 and M4... arough timeline would be good.... also. does furthering your education with a MSc/MBA help with progression within this company.... if so how again.... thanks a whole lot!

It seems that this salary structure with E, M and G grades are used by many organisations, and not just by GLCs. My organisation, which is an educational institute, uses this. I also know of at least one stat board which uses it.
