I seek Advice
Do you guys actually take up any jobs when you are jobless while searching for the ones you are looking for?

yeah
If I'm jobless i'll take anything that comes my way. You can still look for other jobs. The process will be less stressful if you already have something.

Unfortunately, with the current economic situation, the answer is YES.
If you want to get into a job that you want, you need connections/references. Period.
With God's blessing, the "any job" you take could lead you to the career you want.
