similar situation, need some advice please.

got offer from a bank (IT, analytics), another offer from a stat board (governance, policy related).

bank offer is about 15% higher than stat board based on annual package, and offer much better medical insurance that covers whole family. stat board offer about 2k additional medisave per annum for staff to purchase their own medical insurance for family, not sure if that's enough for a decent medical insurance premium for family.

but bank job requires working on shift to cover other markets, meaning 2-3 times meeting early in the morning or late at night, can work from home. stat board regular hours.

wife works in bank as IT, quite long hours sometimes. two kids in primary school.

now headache which one to choose. suggestions anyone? many thanks

No one knows whom are you asking that question to as you have not quoted properly.

Heard and overheard a few times that HR are collecting the information of the staff's teaching hours and non-teaching hours? Anyone knows the purposes?

Hi folks,

I am considering a mid-career switch to lecturing in ITE or Ploytechnic.
With ~20 years industry experience and relevant transferable skill.
Can someone advice the potential IPS grade and salary range to expect?

Thank you in advance!

How much is your current salary? Are you in a management role? Education level? all these will be considered when hiring.
