This is rubbish, there are plenty of lecturers with more than 15 years and above experience, most are drawing at most 120k per annum.

Consider the following: Mid year = 0.5 , end year = 1 month, PB = 3 months, 13th month

1) basic salary 3.5k becomes $5,104 per month (averaged out)

From exp during my stint in RP the total package was usually 16 mths total, but above post seem to say 17.5mths is the norm in poly.

15 months is the norm = 12mth Basic + 1mth (13th mth) + 1mth(Gov, split into July and Dec) + 1mth (Performance).

You are mentioning the minimum and not the norm.

1 month performance bonus is not a norm. C grade is and it translates to around 2-2.5 months.

That is only if the polytechnic name is Bangladesh poly (BP) and the grading is c-?

But even going by your logic average C performer total package also 16 - 16.5 mth, how come above poster say 17.5 is expected? I think you need to be B or B+ to get 17.5.

I have a 10 years of work experience, more than 5 years of which I spent in international organisations doing capacity building and training and development. I am currently employed in a university right now doing executive education programme development, course management and writing proposals.

Now, I am feeling the urge to go back to the education sector and teach. Would you be able to advise me what is the normal salary range for my profile?

depending on how desperate the poly is. most likely it will be PAX5, $5k ++. if you are lucky, very lucky, then pax4.
