Do both academic and non-academic staff (graduate officers) get 21 days leave?

Which are the poly designations which correspond to pax 4? Manager or senior manager or assistant director?

Senior lecturers are pax 4. I believe this is the highest grade for a lecturer.
Then to go higher, a lecturer must agree to hold an appointment e.g. head or manager level, perform well in it for some time, before continuing up the pax scale.
Many lecturers prefer not to be appointment holder though, because it means more jobs, especially dealing with subordinates - not easy. Easier to just stay at highest pax 4 grade, and just do normal lecturer duties.
The top of pax 4 scale pays quite well so many hentak kaki lecturers happily stop here. Can earn even more thru other jobs outside with the spare time available.

Ceiling of pax 4 is 8900+. So x 17 months is about 150k.
The WDA class is no lifetime guarantee....

Is the minimum working exp required still two years?
I have worked a yr in a relevant field that I wish to teach, back by a degree of the same discipline. First year gross per month with bonus is 4+
Will I be qualified and roughly how much will I be offered

sorry, at least 3 years the field of work is required. Even so, you qualify for Pax6 and about $3.5k max (gross before bonus)

Not too bad, but nothing fantastic.cannot compare with average Singaporean, unless you are saying lecturing is an average job.

can I know what does the bar mean?
if i join the poly at Pax 5A with 5k starting salary, does it meant that my cap will be at 5.3k if i don't cross the bar?
how do i cross the bar? ave performer can cross the bar within 2 years? if not, it seems like the salary will be struck after 2 increments of around 4%?
Also, even if i cross the bar but not promoted, my ceiling will be at 6.2k? how do i get promoted?
thanks in advance!
