What is the standard/average salary I can claim as a Senior Software Engineer
Hi, Presently I'm working as a senior software engineer in an India based MNC. I've more than 5 years of working experience in relevant field.
From the next month I'll be transfered to Singapore for a duration minimum 1 year. I'm moving with my wife.
The domain is banking and technology is MOSS, SSRS and .Net.
Can you please provide the standard/average salary that I can claim based on the market value and expenses there.
Please advice your valuable information as early as possible. It'll be very helpful for me to decide.

With your experience, about 3-4k.

Don't come to Singapore because here is too crowded by "foreign talent".

Singaporeans find IT and engineering unglamorous so we need foreign talent like Mr Dhoot to come and fill the void. People in bank technology divisions can command 5k with about 5 years of experience. With 10 years it should be about 8k. Welcome, Mr Dhoot. Not all singaporeans are like the posters above.
