possible for female in late-30s with private degree to join CS?
is it possible for a female in late-30s with a private degree (SUSS / Kaplan) to join Civil Service without any network connections?
looking for honest and real examples here.

Not unheard of for people in private sector to make the jump to public. The salary usually takes a hit, but in exchange, they get added job security and stability. For people in their 30s to make the jump, they usually go for managerial positions.
Private degree won't matter if the job record is stellar.

It's not about getting in, it's about staying in. Are you willing to accept lower salary and being ranked behind your fellow peers who have been inside CS for past 10 years and with local degrees? CS is not like private companies where you can hop in from outside with a high rank. Lao jiaos still rule the place.
