There is no drawing designs. In year 1 lab there are 2 simple lessons of drawing and no more after that.
It will be very theory, lab and research based. There will be 3 hours weekly lab for year 1 n 2. Year 3 no lab, year 4 time spend in lab is due to FYP. The lessons are structured for us to gain fundamental knowledge necessary for future lab research work. To have a clearer idea, many of our final year projects are on producing new materials, improve on composite properties by varying the type and amount of constituents, formulate better material synthesis process, etc. Some of my friends even patented their inventions.

NTU MSE Enquiry
Hi,
I graduated from Poly and my poly course has no engineering or science background. So actually for me, my sciences knowledge is only until O level. Will this be difficult for me to study MSE? I'm actually afraid I may not be able to cope/handle the stress... What should I do?

Question regarding FYP in MSE
Hi,
I'm a year 4 MSE student who is doing FYP now.
May i know if there is a possibility for MSE prof to fail their student in FYP?
In addition, will the examiner say thing like 'I think you fake your results or I dun think you are correct to say your result is good etc'?
Hows the FYP in MSE like?

Jesselyn,
You hinted at the possibility that you have unreliable results for your FYP, even to the effect of presenting doctored data.
Based on this post, you can potentially be challenged and investigated for academic integrity infringement. Liability runs even post graduation. Worse scenario leads to the degree conferred being revoked.
Unwise to ask such unintelligent questions on any public domain, with your personal information.
Suggest to have your post removed, for your good.

Biomaterial engg
Hello,
I wanted to know, whether i am eligible to apply for MSE . I have a bachelors degree in Dentistry(BDS) from India. Also, how much of biochemistry, trigonometry and organic chemistry derivations will be included in the course.
Are there chances of being absorbed in Singapore govt research organisations after completion of the course, and if so, what is the pay in these organisations?
I am particularly interested in composites.
