very true. destiny/fate/luck or whatever you call it plays a huge role too.
but if ts think got chance go try lo. realistic step-by-step plan that helps you get there is more important in the short term. who knows, you may be the Dr. anomaly in the future.

So true. I dont really know why some singaporeans like this. I understand that you have 'lousy GPAs' but if you have the passion to become a doctor , you have to start from the bottom. Even if it takes years and years, study hard and be hard working. But some of them has a point. If you just want to earn the title DR then forget it. Studying medicine and being in the field of becoming a doctor is so much more than that. Whatever it is, i wish you all the best and go pursue your dreams !
