Bad undergraduate result

Hi,

I have bad undergraduate result how would it affect my application for postgraduate admission? or career prospect. ie govt jobs etc.

Bad results as in got honours? If no honours then can forget about postgrad studies since the better unis won't accept you. Can still get a job in stat board / ministries but starting salary will be lower than someone with 1st Hons. Personally I think you can look for a job in MNC where once you get in its all about performance. After 6months on the job no one will remember / care how you did in uni. Or look for a commission based job, like insurance / property / car salesman where gift of gab more important than paper qualifications.

distance learning degree (no honors), with series of pass result (retaking supp papers)

think you might as well join private sector and take postgrad when you have money after working for years...

if ur not a good student, whats the point of postgraduate...try finding a job and reevaluate ur choices...

Apply for some third-rate PhD programmes then after that just use the initials PhD. after your name. Nobody will know about your past.
