IT people should be logical people good in maths, stats and such. I shudder to read statements like the quoted coming from an "IT consultant".

So, if I'm a freelancer making the same pay as a doctor - is it possible? Of course it's possible, because I may be a top earning freelancer and the doctor is just an average doctor. And serious, lots of freelancers make more than me.

Similarly, above-average engineers, consultants and even teachers can earn what an average / median "managing director" earns.

Btw, is it true that consultants "con" and insult? If I know of one consultant who broke the law and went to jail, does it mean all consultants are criminals?
